The University of the Philippines System and the Asia-Pacific Community of Practice will host the 2026 International Association for Research on Service-Learning and Community Engagement Asia-Pacific Community of Practice (IARSLCE APCoP) International Conference at the University of the Philippines Diliman campus on June 15-17, 2026.
The conference, with the theme “Ethics of Service-Learning and Community Engagement,” aims to feature innovative methodologies in service-learning and community engagement research, and spark conversations on ethical best practices, the diversity of ethical standards, the complexities of international collaboration, including culturally determined norms and values, and the challenges of asserting universal standards.
The international conference provides an accessible avenue for service-learning and community engagement scholars in the Asia-Pacific to share their scholarly work. With the aim to reach those who are involved in service-learning research, teacher education, and community engagement, the conference is open to scholars, students, non-government organizations, and community partners.

Conference Reminders & Guidelines
- The conference fee includes participation in all paper presentations, poster presentations, and workshops. It also includes morning and afternoon snacks and lunch on 15-16 June. The welcome dinner on 15 June is covered.
- The conference fee does not include fees for community visits. Community visits fee will be announced soon.
- The fees are non-refundable. Keep proof of payment. This needs to be uploaded on the registration link.
- Registration closes on 15 May 2026 but proof of payment will be accepted until 14 June 2026.
