AI is increasingly integrated into educational settings, offering personalized learning experiences that adapt to individual needs. While AI has the potential to enhance student learning, concerns persist about its role in education. These include fears that AI could replace human educators and ethical issues related to data privacy and bias in AI algorithms. The effectiveness of AI tools in improving student performance also varies depending on the context and method of implementation. Careful consideration is essential to maximize the benefits of AI while addressing these challenges.

This study provides empirical evidence showing that AI tools like GeoGebra and ChatGPT can improve students’ conceptual understanding and self-confidence in mathematics. The research demonstrates that using AI fosters greater student engagement, enhancing their motivation and comprehension of mathematical concepts. However, the study also highlights challenges such as technological issues, fears of AI replacing educators, and concerns about biases in AI systems. It offers insights into how students interact with AI tools, emphasizing the importance of their role in enhancing learning.

The study emphasizes the need for thoughtful selection and validation of AI tools to ensure they align with educational goals. Ethical concerns, including data privacy and algorithmic bias, must be addressed to protect students’ interests. Continuous evaluation and refinement of AI use are essential, ensuring that the tools remain effective and ethical. The paper advocates for establishing clear guidelines for AI integration, promoting responsible use while enhancing student learning experiences.
