The search for the next Faculty Regent is underway! Here are the candidates.
Dr. Marie Rose Arong is an Associate Professor at the College of Communication Art and Design. Her academic research integrates a culturally specific formalist approach with postcolonial readings of narratives.
Dr. Ricardo Babaran, a Professor of Fisheries, has authored numerous scholarly publications, with his most recent work focusing on developing homoploid hybrid speciation in marine coastal ecosystems.
Dr. Early Sol Gadong is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics. Her research explores learning environments, patterns, and the application of mathematical concepts in educational contexts.
Dr. Patrician Anne Nazareno is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biology and Environmental Science. Her research interests include the sustainable utilization of natural materials for environmental rehabilitation and food security.
Dr. Ian Padilla is a Professor in the Division of Biological Sciences, specializing in Cell and Molecular Biology, biochemistry, bacteriology, tropical medicine, and public health with particular emphasis on improving health outcomes.
Dr. Encarnacion Emilia Yap is a Professor at the College of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences. Her research focuses on fish waste management, livelihood production, and the development of functional foods and supplements.
